This Privacy Policy explains how Nicole Lair ("we", "us") handles personal data on this website in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK GDPR.

• Server logs: when you visit, our hosting provider records technical data (IP address, browser, page requested, timestamp) for security and reliability. Logs are kept for up to 30 days.
• Essential cookies: only used to remember your cookie-consent choice.
• No analytics or advertising trackers are loaded without your consent.

3. Legal basis

We process the data above on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in operating a secure website, and — where relevant — your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

4. Third parties

• Hosting: Lovable (Cloudflare-backed edge hosting).
• Fonts: Google Fonts (font files may be served from Google CDNs).
• Outbound links to Instagram, TikTok, and book retailers send you to third-party sites governed by their own privacy policies.

5. Your rights

Under GDPR and UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. To exercise any of these, email hello@nicolelair.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority (in the UK: the ICO).

6. International transfers

Some service providers (e.g. Cloudflare, Google Fonts) may process data outside the EU/UK. Where they do, transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions.
